What is electrolysis?
A fine, sterile probe slips into the natural opening of the hair follicle and a tiny amount of energy treats the root. The hair slides out, and over a course of sessions the treated follicles stop producing hair.
Permanent results
Each hair is treated at the root, one by one, so treated follicles stop regrowing.
Every hair & skin type
Works on light, grey, red and fine hairs that lasers can't reach, on any skin tone.
Private & unhurried

How it's done
A fine, sterile, single-use probe slides gently into the natural opening of the hair follicle.
A tiny amount of energy treats the root, so that hair doesn't grow back.
We work one hair at a time, carefully and precisely. It works on every hair color and skin type.
Hair grows in cycles, so results come over a series of short sessions.
A short history
Electrolysis has a long and trusted record. It was first used in 1875 by Dr. Charles E. Michel, an eye doctor in St. Louis, to permanently remove ingrown eyelashes.

Since then it has been refined and practiced for well over a century. Today it is the only method the FDA allows to be called permanent hair removal; laser treatments may only claim to reduce hair.
Modern electrolysis machines are computerized and far gentler than the early ones, so treatment today is precise, comfortable and discreet.
Your first visit
We talk through the areas you'd like treated and your goals, then start with a short session so you know how it feels.
A course of sessions
Hair grows in cycles, so results build over regular appointments. Sessions get shorter as fewer hairs return.
Simple aftercare
Some redness is normal and fades within hours. Keep the area clean and skip makeup and sun on it for a day.
